1. Because race horses are bred to race
2. he hasn't ever faced an older horse in his life.
3. Because I would literally take a shotgun and kill anyone who wants to tell me American Pharoah is the best race horse since X if he retires and never faces an older horse.
Seattle slew ran until he was 4, affirmed ran into he was 4. Actually the only horse to win the TC and not run their 4 year old year was Big Red. It's what you do. He hasn't even peaked yet.
The Breeders Cup Classic is a 5 million dollar race. he'd double his lifetime earnings if he won. why the frick would you not run there and he'd be the fav
