re: Cop shot dead during traffic stop in Memphis

About two weeks ago there was a white officer fatally shooting a black guy that attached the cop.
The FBI came in and is handling that incident. The community seems to be waiting for the facts to come out.
The community is. outraged over this police shooting. Black and white people are glad he is off the street.
I think a second arrest was just made. Maybe the driver.
It appears the shooter may have shot the cop over a 2 gram pot warrant.
I don't feel like there are any racial tension in the city right now. At least not with the level headed majority.

The update was the driver has been released because he did not see shooting.

The deceased was apparently assaulting the officer Michael Brown style when he got plugged. He was a sex offender with a few outstanding warrants - impressive for a 19 year old. Good riddance. When the officer is in the wrong, I won't bow down to them because they are a cop. But from everything that's been published so far, the officer had every right to shoot him.
And I've seen the FB comments from some of Memphis's finest on the Darrius Stewart shooting. A lot of the Memphis community has their mind made up already that some innocent, wide eyed youth was shot by a racist cop.

They are outraged over the police officer being shot.
And yes to the guy that saw the FB comments of a few ignorant people.
But that isn't the typical response from the majority of the citizens.
The general thoughts are the police shooting the black teen will be proven a 100% justified. But because the FBI has taken over the video from the dash cam hasn't been released as of now.

There is no racial tension only because the races of the victim and the perp are not reversed. Otherwise, stores would be burning and peeps would be marching.
