Not really. He is too smug and sanctimonious to be funny. Now the Colbert Report....I still miss that show. That was such a brilliant character.

I was always the opposite. I found Colbert funny in small doses but it was too much a case of the same show every night. Which isn't really Colbert's fault; it was just a limitation caused by the format. He was a parody of Billo so he had to stay in character.

Stewart's format allowed for more variety. He could make fun of the Republicans on Monday night, CNN on Tuesday night, and pop culture on Wednesday night.

Yeah, I miss Colbert far more than I'll miss Jon. I remember in high school just watching Jon's interviews and watch all the Colbert Report. It's going to be really hard for him to overcome that character he created with the Late Show. It's going to start off really awkward because of it, and no one will be able to take him seriously pretty much his first year.
