Honestly, the only drugs athletes should be tested for are performance enhancers.

Who cares if a ball player smokes weed or even does ecstacy, coke, whatver.

If they can handle it still be elite then they can handle it.

If they can't, they'll fizzle and not be contenders. If the NCAA or pro sports were really concerned with promoting responsibility, they would allow this, because nothing says responsibility like making your own choices and dealing with the consequences. But by introducing a hurdle in a drug test, which has nothing to do with the sport itself, it really doesn't make any sense.


These are adults, let them do whatever they want in their personal life.
