Exactly. No fun is a childish excuse. There are plenty of kids who would kill for that spot and have fun doing it

While I get your point here the situation from these 2 guys to Byrd was a little different. These guys were basically starting superstars (in the college realm) from the time they stepped on campus. Byrd was trying to find his way and Maineri's style didn't agree with him ultimately....so he leaves no harm, no foul.

However, my problem is if Maineri is going to criticize someone for not performing under pressure he better damn well show me something better himself in the dugout under pressure filled situations.
