About the time of Sergeant Pepper? Probably starting to brew (is he, is he not of John and Paul´s calibre?).

Remember, there was jealousy there, as well (George was a latent threat to both Paul and John).

What Harrison penned tunes did make it to Beatles albums, were nearly always absolutely sublime (and some of his, some of their best known, despite he maybe having done 2-3% of their work).

I have some well positioned contacts that work in the music business, and I have heard a LOT of stories. It's been reported to me that if you could ever manage to get a few beers in George, he would tell you that George Martin never thought he was good enough to be a Beatle and was always pushing to have him replaced with someone else.

Just what I've been told.

Personally, my favorite Beatle. With the best ex-Beatle solo career.
