I actually think it looks really good. Not super easy to tell if the back looks good since you can't tell the shape of the taillights. From what I can tell the back looks like an Acura SUV

That looks like a Cadillac symbol in the first pic

Why are there professional looking spy photos?

They are spy photos from extreme testing (heat and cold).

The only clean and sleek photos look to correspond to a failed corporate campaign which was scrapped (the exterior has undergone some modification since then, and I´m sure the mechanics have, as well).

I know crossovers are hot right now, but the thought of a Jaguar SUV just doesn't appeal to me. I don't get it.

I understand, and agree.

However, aesthetically speaking, it looks as if this may be understood as more attractive that the Porsche or Audi by an important portion of the market (provided of course, this thing is mechanically sound and reliable, it would be a very viable option if not too far off price-wise).

Are you in the market for an $80,000 SUV? If not I don't think Jaguar really cares what you think. Ten years ago people balked at Porsche for building an SUV, today the Cayenne is their biggest seller in history.

That orange thing that you refer to as looking a bit like the Mazda, is not the F type shown above, but rather the first prototype from 2013 or so (showing a 2015 release date).

These vehicles now look more solid and sturdy (less crossover and more SUV).

Yeah, I think they´re going after you, the Q7ers, those that may look at Lamborghini´s SUV, and possible Maserati´s (if they make one).....

They should steal some from Range Rover, as well.
