We went there one weekend when I was stationed at Ft. Knox. Pretty cool place. I remember going through one chamber where the guide told us it was large enough to hold a 747 or something similar. I think your kids will have fun.

It's 54 degrees...365 days a year.
CAUTION: You must purchase tickets ahead of time. Do not arrive there and expect to get tour tickets that same day. That rarely ever happens...the tours typically sell out in advance so it is good to plan ahead.
