You absolutely can't go wrong either way. Those are two of my favorite cities in the world. I have been to both numerous times. I was in Rome for Easter 2014. It is a beautiful city and there is so much history there. Paris is at least as beautiful. If you like museum hopping, you will not be disappointed. Paris has the best food and restaurants in the world IMO. You can flip a coin, but if you are asking me for an answer, I will say PARIS.

Does the fact it's at least 10-15 degrees colder in Paris when we are going matter? It will also be a bit rainy in both, I think slightly more rain in Rome.
But yeah, I figured from a F&D perspective Paris would be the winner.
I want Paris but the wife is leaning Rome simply because of the weather. She gets cold in the desert at high noon.
