I feel like that would be a mistake, so I hope the Cubs do it and it costs a lot.

I wonder if it would take Baez. Baez/Crawford middle infield would be solid in Philly.

What is your rational on this? Just because it might be an expensive package?
I don't think it'll come close to depleting our stocked farm system. Hamels isn't just a move for this year, it's for the next 4. Which ties into the Cubs window.
It'll probably be Baez or Castro and 2-3 B level prospects. Outside of Baez and Happ, we really don't have place on the ML roster for most of the positional prospects.
