I think it's time for everyone to realize Bob is dead, and he's not coming back.

He was a good manager for us. His time with the USMNT had probably run its course though.

Not to mention, he was just as flawed and had just as many miscues. I'm not sure when Bob became this martyr who was ousted for worse. I really liked the guy, but it was almost universally agreed that we needed to take a chance on someone else. He absolutely struggled time and time again with adjustments, which really kind of takes away from his superiority tactically. How much of an advantage is it when an opponent adjusting to counter it is met with nothing? Not to mention, we lived and died by the long ball. At the very least, we create a nice goal here and there from time to time now.

We are recruiting young talent, the pool just keeps growing, and we're performing just as well if not slightly better statistically in terms of results under Jurgen (~57%). All things considered, we came out 2% and a larger pool in the positive from the change. Not the revolution everyone seemed to think would happen, but we're not in any worse shape than we were.
