This even if you don't use him every hunt train him. It'll be rewarding for you and the dog.

I have a white lab and don't have problems with the ducks spotting him. Now I usually hunt in the marsh in roseau canes or fly grass. As long as he has some cover in front of him (neck down) it's usually not an issue.
