Speaking of which - my aforementioned TCL Roku set - DOESN'T have an ethernet connection - it's wifi only.

So, the evolution is clear - "Everybody wants wifi" is driving the market, not wifi as an option.

I think mobile devices triggered this, but I see ethernet becoming more of the option on all but desktops in the near future - even laptops will get to where wifi is automatic, but ethernet isn't (heck, maybe we're already there. )
