I mean, I understand that the duo doesn't want to be remembered for Righteous Kill, but it was their fault to star in what was essentially a B movie.

They were both in Godfather II, but shared no scenes. Their short shared scenes in Heat are Hollwood magic, without a doubt, but I don't think any working retirement film is going to approach that - we should be glad we got that.


I basically agree with everything you said, but it would still be awesome to see both of them together one last time for what sounds like could be an epic film, which would be sweet. You're also right that Righteous Kill was a huge letdown because even with Pacino and De Niro, that movie didn't have any chance to be any good.
