Indeed. I have to say that I love Snopes for investigating and getting the true story. If that puts you in the mood for more, then there is the one titled "tine traveler". It is the xray of a 70 year old man who for some reason thought that sticking a fork into his urethra thru an opening in an appendage that should be "exit only" would be fun.

Then there is "Fork Chop" which is a small boy who somehow impaled a fork thru his nose at a restaurant. Poor baby! It also shows him smiling afterwards with the prong mark punctures still visible.

Gory stuff doesn't bother me. I have had to pick brain pieces out of the grass at accidents as a first responder - but for some reason cutting raw meat at home grosses me out.
