To be honest, it's a piece of shite. They took everything about the A-Bolt and cheapened it.
If you're in BR, come to Bowie Outfitters and I can give you a rundown of good rifles that would be great as a first gun.

Is the A Bolt being discontinued? I only see 2 models on Browning's website and one of them is a left handed version.

Disagree with it being a piece of shite. Got one last year to leave at the camp as a back up rifle. It is a mid-level rifle that in my opinion shoots dam good. I get excellent groupings with core locks out of mine. It is not a pretty rifle, but does the job.
