I think the preferred card is a much better deal if you get your groceries at a grocery store and not Walmart/target


I have 3 cards with annual fees and the benefits on all of them outweigh the fee


You can probably get the first annual fee waived and downgrade the card later if you really want



Eta: if you want a basic cash back card with no fee, I'd prefer the citi double cash over the BCE
