All good info Flying Tiger.
Spot on. Nobody knows until the report comes out.
I'm assuming your outta Barksdale.
Quick story to put a smile on your face.
I was stationed at Tyndall back in the mid 80's. During one of our Copper Flags I was off duty and doing a run over on the non flightline side of the base out near the beach. Halfway through the run I catch what I first thought was a "fast mover" coming in from over the ocean. Much to my surprise it was one of you guys BUFFs screaming at @500 ft on his way to doing a wingover of the tower.
(For those mot in the know, Tyndall conducts air defense operations where the typical Blue force (good guys) is defending the base from a usually vastly numerically superior Red Force (USSR back then). The defenders , usually a mix of F-15's, F-18s and F-4s from various units trained to repel inbounds while coordinating amongst various units.
The Barksdale BUFF I saw was doing a wingover representing his success in infiltrating our airspace with success. In other words, his way of saying the base would have been thermonuclear toast. LOL
To this day I will never forget seeing that big bird hauling arse on the deck , going by so low I could CLEARLY see the AC's white helmet!
Good times!!!! )

My dad spent some of the 50's and some of the 60's doing low level runs in these in a Marine special weapon squadron.
The squadron was in Miami during the Cuban Missile Crisis.
