Since this topic is so hot like Hansel right now, I'm posting the Saints' cumulative tight end stats from 07-14 (TGTS, REC, YD) so we can get a bird's eye view of how life will be in the year AJ (After Jimmy).

A couple of caveats:
1) 2011-14 only reflect Jimmy's stats, not Watson or Hill's.
2) 2010 includes Jimmy's stats with other TEs since he was a rookie.

Year: TGT / Rec / YD / TD / % Pass TD/ TOT Pass TD / League Rank

2014: 125 / 85 / 889 / 10 / 30% / 33 / 6th
2013: 142 / 85 / 1215 / 16 / 41% / 39 / 2nd
2012: 135 / 86 / 982 / 9 / 21% / 43 / 1st
2011: 149 / 99 / 1310 / 11 / 24% / 46 / 2nd

2010: 149 / 102 / 983 / 10 / 30% / 33 / 3rd
2009: 122 / 88 / 947 / 5 / 15% / 34 / 1st
2008: 150 / 107 / 1183 / 3 / 9% / 34 / 1st
2007: 101 / 75 / 700 / 4 / 14% / 28 / 9th

While it seems like a huge drop off TD wise, and in terms of %of production from one player it is, however pre Graham we found a way to make up for the production in other areas.

Little harder to gauge given the fact that the league has become more pass happy, but our TD rank has stayed constant before and during. Jimmy is a special talent, but it speaks a lot to Drew's talent and the system.

And for a bit of nostalgia, Saints who contributed to these Stats are: Jimmy, Jeremy Shockey, David Thomas, Darnell Dinkins, Billy Miller, Eric Johnson, Mark Campbell, and Ernie Conway.

Without really thinking about it:

2014: 149/86/983
2013: 150/107/1310
2012: 135/85/982
2011: 149/102/1183
2010: 142/99/1215
2009: 122/88/947
2008: 125/75/889
2007: 101/85/700

3) Didn't post touchdowns because that was one area where he really made a difference

I think you need to list the TDs. By your own admission, you're cherry picking statistics to favor your argument. Losing those extra red zone TDs with Graham gone is going to be massive and it will be noticed.

I know the cool thing is to dismiss the guy headed out the door and call him soft and talk about how we won't miss him but we will. I remember numerous 1st and goals from inside the 5 yard line with Graham lined up out wide in single coverage. Even before the ball was snapped, everyone on the field and in the stadium knew where the ball was going but there was nothing that could be done about it.
