re: What's the poorest you've ever been?

Will not say that I was poor, but things got tight during college. Roommate and I decided we would save money on the utilities by not running the heat during the winter. Our apartment was about as well insulated as a Hooverville shack and I can remember seeing the thermostat bottomed out under 40 degrees. I remember playing video games with gloves on because you could see your breath in the living room. I think about it now maybe I should have prioritized heating the apartment a little higher than booze and partying.
