re: United States should have a bike lane in all cities

Cyclists are the scourge of the road. If you want to make bicyle only sidewalks go right ahead.

I once saw a guy riding a bike down a busy street wearing a skin tight shirt that said "Cars [some number of] feet" with an arrow pointing in the direction of the car. I realize that's completely legal but that's still being an asshat.

To any person who isn't completely full of themselves or oblivious to the world around them, riding a bike on a busy street or busy high way should be considered something that is best not done. Leave the bike riding to recreational facilities and small neighborhoods.
