I'm wrapped up in logic and empiricism. How about no one goes around hitting other people thinking they can get away with this? This woman doesn't know if this guy's going to pull out a knife or a gun, and I guarantee she didn't have that on her mind. She should have.

I know I'd have it on my mind if I attempted to assault someone else. I don't raise my hand to hit someone unless I intend to engage in combat.

Both of these people are pieces of trash, simple as that. I'm not here excusing the actions of one or the other based on their gender.
