Why is it that "equality" is a woman having the right to throw punches and knees to a man's groin, but God forbid the man retaliates?
Why is "equality" holding a man accountable but telling a woman she shouldn't be held accountable for her own actions.
She was drunk (probably underage) and escalated a situation the guy tried to stop by holding the hand she was threatening to hit him with. Instead of her to stop, she continued to escalate the situation by physically assaulting him.
Why the hell shouldn't she expect to receive the same measure she is giving???
It is bizarre how this country attempts to reduce men to nothing while raising women. I do not believe in hitting women, I am strongly against "Ray Rice" situations, however this is NOT one.
I truly am disgusted by how women and some men attempt to blanket every thing as being "Ray Rice". That isn't fact.
If he has to be accountable, so should she. She was the instigator and the aggressor so her punishment should be even more severe. If he is thrown off the team, she should be expelled out of the university.

She instigated the entire situation. She raises her fist to threaten him. He holds her back. She continues being irrational by attempting to kick/knee him then attempting to punch him.
She assaulted him. Period. She should be held just as accountable, even more so because she instigated the situation. Even after kneeing him he didn't get physical. He got physical the moment she threw a punch.
It is not a woman's right to assault any man she sees fit. That is nonsense perpetuated by feminist and weak-willed men who think "equality" is women having way more rights then men.

This has also been a good wakeup call about people showing a portion of a video that can alter perception of what really happened.

Literally the stupidest thing I read on TD.
She raised her fist to threaten him. He did the SMART thing to impeded her physical attack.
She then began kneeing/kicking him and he didn't respond just held her fist.
She then said some stuff and threw a punch, which he then made a bad response by punching her back.
Then people like you want to only blame the guy as if she didn't do multiple things physically and verbally to instigate this situation.
He couldn't even say sorry, she raised her fist threatening him the minute she turned around. Once he stopped her from hitting him she lost it. She should be punished severely as well.

if you want to put yourself in the position to smoke a girl in the face, yeah sure that is the right call.
Again I do not care about legality. If the charges get dropped fine, they are both out of line. Having said that he has no room in polite society, he is as scumbag.

I just watched again twice. Her fist is never in position to toss a real punch at all. Thumb is out, she clearly has a card or cash it her life threating "fist" and he pushing up everyone being that guy.

Nope. This is the stupidest post.
You have literally never been in a bar. That is normal etiquette, to wiggle your way to the front. People were moving she moved in with more than enough space (two bigger women were occupying it) then he tried to wiggle in to the other side.
The girl tried to stop him from doing that as if she owned the bar spots (she doesn't) and then threatened him with her fist.
The fact you guys ignore this just shows the ignorance in our society today. We complain about women overseas in islamic states being oppressed........... yet what are they trying to do to men here?
You're literally saying it is okay for women to act without self-control and do as they please. That is wrong. They should be held just as accountable for their actions. It is equality after all. Right?

Yes a few small details are that she sees the guy coming. Then sticks her arse and leg out to try and block him out. Earlier it was said by others she just gets pushed from behind randomly. Look again. She knew he was coming and she decided to go all out bitch mode.
