She backed it up. A certain amount if physical damage is not necessary for a battery to take place.

she was getting shoved and bossed by a dickhead at the bar, she stood up for herself and then got restrained and shoved. This is all evident by the fact the a-hole has been since dismissed from the team because there's no excuse for punching a girl at a bar in the damn face.

Yeah I don't buy the size and strength argument. What if it turns out she was an MMA girl fighter? He tried to neutralize her when she raised her right fist. Then she went for the nuts and threw a punch. She is also at fault.
