It's not all bad. There are a good many eats and outdoor options. Roughly in between Dallas, Atlanta, Memphis, Nola, beach. The craft beer scene is coming on. Close to multiple sec schools for games. Jackson is ok minus the schools. Then you have to join me in the damn burbs of Madison or the Rez.

I hear ya...I've spent plenty of time there for work etc over the years. It has gotten a lot better but still has a ways to go.
