Speaking of July 4, I'm walking along the Strand in Hermosa Beach on July 4, maybe 1973. I'm with this girl I go to school with--an absolute stunning blond beauty.

So we're walking along and I notice every single person on the beach staring at me. At first I think to myself, "is my dick hanging out?" and "did I forget to wear a bathing suit?"

Then I realize--they're not staring at me, but the girl I'm with--I mean every single one of the 300,000 people on that beach were lazered in on this chick.

One of the stranger experiences I've had in life.
