Prime age has moved back in tennis, IMO. Seems to be more like 26-28 now.
Stan broke through later in his career. Cilic was 25 before he really made a big jump.
Just an opinion. Another reason why the younger guys you alluded to maybe haven't pushed through yet is because they're having to break through against 3 of the greatest players ever, and one of the top 15 players ever. And yeah, they can maybe beat one of those guys on any given day. But to win big tournaments, you have to beat 3 of them.
