Only the lower end Lamson's are cast. The litespeed is Machined aluminum and an excellent reel IMO. I believe it comes with an lifetime warranty

Orvis Mirage reels are half off with a free spare spool. These reels are Korean reels, machined in good Korea.
I'm a cork drag zealot but these are hands down the best bang for the buck.
