I've messed around with one but I don't own one. Not really sure you can compare the two rods. One is a thousand dollar rocket launcher and the other is built in some guys garage in Texas. I like the Meridian just fine but I find it to be a little much for redfish. I prefer a little less arse in my 8wts.

Most of my fishing is done with an H2 and the occasional Solar, just to give you an idea of what my preferences are.
