It's not so bad during rush hour during the summer months. But during the months when school is in, the traffic is a burden. It's incredibly annoying when everything blows up because of a rain shower, too.

The main problem is everyone uses the interstates to get to and from work. There just aren't enough options.

Here's my daily problem.

My house is off Essen behind CB&I between I10/I12. I commute from Geismar via 1-10 every single day. I get to bluebonnet in an easy 20minutes and then BOOM dead stop traffic getting OFF AT THE ESSEN exit. The problem is everyone is trying to cut through Essen to I12 because the interstate to take the loop is a clusterfrick. 20 minutes to my exit at Essen and another 30min waiting to get to my house which is literally 100yds from the interstate. frick you Baton Rouge
