After the band split up, which Beatle had the best solo music?
My vote goes to George. All Things Must Pass is one of the greatest albums of all time. John's music was good too, and Imagine is 10/10 awesome. I thought Paul was better with the band than without-his solo music seemed to lack a strong depth. And admittedly I haven't listened to a ton of Ringo.

Plastic Ono Band is the best solo album. Paul probably had the best career, followed by John. I love George (What is Life may be GOAT post Beatles song) but All Things Must Pass is overrated and pretty bloated imo.

Paul and Wings had hit after hit. George had a few as well, but nowhere near PM and Wings.

They all have produced memorable music post-Beatles. But Paul probably wins due to volume of output. It has not been consistently good, but there is enough that is good though to claim the prize.

I'm so tainted by Ebony and Ivory, With a Little Luck, Silly Love Songs that I forget about Live and Let Die, Band on the Run, Junior's Farm, Jet and Maybe I'm Amazed.
So I recant.

George. There is just no getting past the absolute shitshow McCartney put on in the 80s

Let's not forget his wonderful "Christmas Time" song

Yeah, I'd hope he goes to #4 on that basis alone.
I'll vote for George.

It's hard to believe George had a better album than "Band On The Run"
There's not a really weak track on it.
