Nothing wrong with what you did. Granny buys a gun. Sells it to you because she just decides she does not like the way it shoots.

What do you mean you will transfer it to your name? Why?

I can buy my 20 yr old son a pistol and give it to him. I THINK grandparents can do this too; but I DON'T think siblings are legally able to.

SIGs are nice. I prefer the CZ line, but that's aesthetics, the P226 is a top notch pistol. If it's your first one, hang onto it. Everything is starting to go to polymer, so these real metal pistols will amaze your kids in a generation
