Roy Orbison was a great. His voice had tremendous range. Most remember him for hit hit "Oh, Pretty Woman" but he had a lot of hits.
He recorded this with The Traveling Wilburys in 1988, the year he died at age 52. One of my favorites:

Only the Lonely, that one song pretty much covers his entire range at the end.
