My dad thought it was just a natural reef for a long time, but even as a kid, it was just too perfect for me to believe it.

A few years ago I heard about a reef being donated by the family of a man who died, using some scrap metal and concrete.

So I looked it up somehow on the internet and actually found where the stones were donated and placed by a company probably not long before I was stepping on them in the mid 70s.

Can you imagine what they could have done with all the concrete slabs the government paid to haul away from NOLA after K? Heard they couldn't use it because of the rebar. Is the steel on the rigs different from rebar to that extent?
