Mid major takes chance and offers same player 100% scholarship and puts all eggs in basket to get this type of player. Player and family evaluate options: Free or $20,000 a year? Boy we love LSU but free sounds great. Different strategies for Schools depending on your school. UCLA's strategy is they basically give out the 11.7 in approximate 50 percent portions have a smaller roster and they sell the education as the cost for in state students would be about 15,000 grand a year with 50 percent scholly. They get Walk ons after that.
