probably pipe fitting. Course, you have to use the metric system and that would be an adjustment for me.

as far as the actual work, I'm not bothered by any of it.

I'm pretty confident I could pick up welding but I don't want to have problems with my vision later on in life because of it.

I know a lot of people who work there already and they all seem to be doing well there. Austal has steadily grown since it came to be in 1999.
