Hmmm... you're in Baton Rouge. No restaurant or movie. Its hot as hell outside. If you can go during the day, take her down to NOLA to the Museum of Art or the WWII exhibit.
Someone said Zoo. not a bad idea. either in BR or NOLA. Then there is aquarium. Look at it this way, if you havae to drive to NOLA, you still get to know each other a little. She will probably think you are a little cultured, which is not a bad thing.
Of course, there is always Blue Bayou.
