Imagine if solar panels get 4x more efficient than they are now.
You could have them on top of every roof, with arrays in many neighborhoods, and then local clusters every few miles or so. On top of that you'd have big solar plants for regional production.
Like mentioned earlier, the plastic and rubber demanded would still be an issue.

Community solar will become a bigger part of solar as people in condos as an example can't get rooftop solar.

There will always be a need for other fuels. We just don't have to use as much of some of them if we use more renewable enrgy sources.
