Now, several years later, everyone wants to create metrics and look at statistics to decide if he is the best player in history. That is necessary at this point.

Creating metrics and looking at statistics? You mean these numbers that are able to quantify someone's contribution to the game? I'm forgot that the "Eyeball Test" and using one's own individual opinions on a player's "intangibles" and "killer instinct" were the accepted method of judging performance.

I'm not even sure if you understand why Lebron is in Cleveland to begin with. He brought in players to build a contender. He went back and took the third worst supporting cast in Finals history to Game 6. So, when his plan to build a contender failed, he just made them a contender on his own. Regardless, the Cavs were very much a contender, and it was 100% because of Lebron.

I genuinely think that a lot of you truly believe that by admitting that Lebron is a great player and had a great series, it somehow invalidates your commitment to some other player who you idolize. Every argument is the same bullshite about rings, and yet, when Lebron goes after rings he's a bitch for "wanting to win rings now". He goes back to Cleveland, he's still a choke artist for not winning regardless of his cast. It's impossible for him to come out on top outside of literally winning every game.

I'm glad the Finals are over so this can all blow over. I'm not even a Cavs fan, and I honestly don't give two shits that Golden State won the title. I just don't understand how people can be so ridiculously against an athlete in every way. The fact that some of you are out in the world operating heavy machinery and driving cars terrifies me.
