None taken at all, I know it's a pretty standard shotgun. I was just curious as to if there was an actual reason some of the almost identical guns had a $400 resale differential.

people buy things all the time for more than their market value. its all about whether the seller finds the right buyer
looking for the correct "range" for a low-dollar item like that is likely fruitless. i'd list it for whatever you think is fair, $3-400 seems reasonable for a used 870. i know i wouldnt pay more than that for one no matter the condition
