THIS IS HOW TOWER GUARDS GET THEIR LUNCH. NO JOKE. I lived near the MO State Pen in Jefferson City, MO. The guards had a milk crate on a rope. They were not allowed to open their tower doors for any reason, so their lunch (or anything else) was hoisted up just like this. High tech.
