I hope people don't take this the wrong way, but is anyone else surprised how long he has lasted?

i didn't think this obtainable. Its been how many years now?

He's a fighter for sure. I literally cried that day in September 2011 when he had to be helped onto the field before the Texans game. I was stunned at how progressed the disease was already.

i dont remember what the typical prognosis is with ALS, what, less than a year?
