It makes sense if it was recreational. Companies for sure have that right. But can they fire people for taking medicine prescribed to them? I failed a drug test for opiates once because I had cough syrup for a bout with whooping cough. I was cleared after they consulted my physician and he confirmed it was prescribed and necessary.

If this guy was prescribed this for muscle spasms (which could be real or not, I have no idea) by a physician, I see no reason how that’s different from other medicine.

If it potentially prevents them from doing their job correctly you are damn right they can.
