He can, but he has to wait for the next guy to be loose enough to throw or he risks the game getting further out of hand and potentially injuring the new pitcher.

It's not March. You can't allow someone to try to pitch their way out of the jam after that.

yep, you're right. and they got out of that inning with minimal damage. why not warm someone else up in the bottom of the inning and put him on the mound instead of poche?

it just seemed poche got rattled. he suddenly had a case of the yips. it was unreal.
