they are letting the Austwins and Vanessa lock this shite up by overthinking everything and being cowards.

Johnny Mac will win fan fave, but James has my vote.

From the recap it seems like Vanessa is pretty pissed at James.
vanessa started out with her typical BS victim bullshite while attacking james but james understands how to deal with crazy people. he remained calm and didn't fuel her absurdity. he just apologized and agreed with her while letting her vent. after she realized she wouldn't get him to participate in her psychotic mess she calmed way down. they actually had a pretty nice and civil bonding convo for about an hour. it was the first time this season that I've seen someone draw out humanity in vanessa. she was actually very sociable and relatable in this instance

imo Austin has played the best game in the house so far. America will die a little if he wins but I think his game has been underrated.

Yep. He sees and understands the game well.

Hes just a cringe-inducing douche

eta- also didn't know James has two kids. Thought he just had the one daughter

2 kids by 2 different moms, neither of whom he married I think.

And another woman is running his Twitter account.

I thought the son wasn't actually his, he just kind of took the father role in his life. That's why he only talks about his daughter getting the trust fund if he wins. I could be very wrong on that though.

steve stated he is putting up Austin and liz if he wins hoh. he told us that voting out Julia isn't the right move for him here and I agree. he said Julia is equivalent to meg in comps and he would have 3 strong competitors coming after him for wasting his flip on Julia. he said it has to be Austin or liz for him to take a shot

Yep, here is basically what he said his plans are in some sort of monologue that he gave:

quote:

Steve's Scampering backyard monologue 8/28, about 2:08am BB time, Camera 1 -- his plans going forward. (inside) Plans to put up Liz & Austin...Steve: 8/28, about 2:08:30 AM, Camera 1

If I win HOH, I'm totally putting Liz & Austin up. I'll give Julia my vote this week. I can put Liz and Austin up in HOH 100%. Cause the thing is I can't make that first step at Julia. It HAS to be Liz or Austin. The first step has to be Liz or Austin. And frankly the other problem with getting rid of Julia this week is that then Austin, Meg, James ...Austin, Meg, and James... and Liz are going to make a 4-person against me, and I can't have that. The way to do this is to get rid of Meg and win HOH and put Liz & Austin up. THAT's the way to do this. Make a deal with James. Bring him in. He'll know he's at the bottom but he doesn't have anything better going for him...(mumbles -- going over dialogues...practicing what he's going to say to different people it seems like -- hard to tell who, though.) I should practice Days to make sure I win this HOH...(practices that). -BBenthusiast

If Steve can win the next HOH, and then actually put Austin and Liz up, I'll have to start giving him some credit.

Here is what is said in the article that was linked a page back:

quote:

While chatting with former BB player Jeff Schroeder before the game began, James explained that he has a daughter, Baleigh, and that he "inherited [his] adopted son, Landon."

I kind of feel sorry for Steve if he does put them both up. They will be horrible to the kid, and I don't know if he will be able to handle it.

Ah okay. That's what I get for listening to idiots on a forum

Anyway, why wouldn't Vanessa push to get out Julia? It solidifies her Steve and JMac as the power trio in the game, breaks up the Austwins, and she can plausibly blame Steve eve if she puts him up to it.

Because she has a final 2 with Julia if Liz gets taken out.

Why do people make these deals? Doesn't anyone realize no one honors it in the end?

I think Vanessa's goal is to have someone take out Liz so that she will then have a final 2 with Steve, Austin, and Julia. She'll then be sitting pretty good for the final 2.

Isn't Thursday a double eviction? If so, that makes it the perfect time to do it! Also, while Steve is socially awkward, he has shown enough sense to either avoid people when they are mad or to ask them if they want to be left alone. If he handled Vanessa being mad at him, he can handle Austwins being mad.

Cody did last year, and it cost him $450,000. Terrible, terrible decision.
