That's pop country. There are many, many different sounds in the other types of country music. Most of the guys I listen to absolutely hate Nashville stuff, and only play bars, festivals, or the radio in TX. Sure if they wanted to, they could sound like everyone else and make $10 million a year, but they dont
A lot of DJs prerecord their songs or use a program to play them, and just pretend to do stuff while they're on stage. I know a relatively famous one that just uses a computer program to do it all

You have a lazy ear if you think all dance music is equal.
I have seen a decent amount of EDM artists, and understand there are many different genres. It much more about the atmosphere than the actual music.
