Okay I won't deflect. It wasn't shopped. You happy? It's a highly capable and technologically advanced aircraft that was rushed out of R&D and rushed off the line because Boeing was falling way behind Airbus (due in no small part to EU subsidies).

The aircraft's rollout was a source of pride for those of us stationed in Europe when the Boeing and Airbus issue was huge. It was a very disappointing rollout in the end.
