re: A German grocery store that is cheaper than Wal-Mart is plotting a big expansion

We just got one in my town, and it is awesome. Everyone says they don't have the brands, but they more or less do. Example,they carry "Millville" cereals. Guess who makes Millville? General Mills.


The non name brand stuff I have bought from there has been just as good if not better than the branded stuff. It is clean and you can get in and out. They check you out of there faster than any store I have ever been to. I get all my groceries from there except Steaks. Only go to other stores (WalMart) for shampoo, soap, cleaners, etc.
