It’s no secret that Sony is banking on its virtual reality device Project Morpheus to be the next step when it comes to gaming on the PlayStation 4; with the publisher already proclaiming that it will have “massive amounts” of support compared to the PlayStation Move motion controller.

With that said, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that Project Morpheus will have a presence during Sony’s E3 press conference next week. However, it won’t be just shown off, but will have a “big push” at the presser according to VRFocus.

According to the site its sources “close to SCE,” Morpheus will be seeing a “big push” at the presser and will have “around half” of Sony’s E3 booth space. Additionally, games featured on display will be “first-party and exclusive Morpheus titles” only; meaning games that are available on Oculus Rift and other VR devices won’t be part of it.

If true, this report certainly coincides with Sony Worldwide Studios boss Shuhei Yoshida’s comments that the Project Morpheus launch will have “a good number of games.”

Are you OK with Project Morpheus taking a big chunk of Sony’s E3 presser? Or would you rather Sony concentrate on just games?

Project Morpheus is scheduled for release in early 2016 exclusively for the PS4.
