With his crew, it'd be a historic chokejob if he fricks this up. He won the MVP award. That means he's good enough to be taken to task if he shits the bed.

Who defends Melo? He doesn't get criticized as much because everyone knows that he can't carry a team on his own and nobody is willing to argue against that.
Paul gets criticized for never doing anything.
Lebron gets criticized so much because he's held to a higher standard as he should be.
